Internal Policy & Standards

Welcome to the official Lawn Pros operative handbook. This guide is designed to provide clear, actionable instructions for all field technicians, ensuring excellence in service delivery and unwavering safety standards across every project we undertake.

Service Guidelines

Mowing Standards

Maintain consistent grass height according to species requirements and ensure alternating patterns to prevent soil compaction.

Edging & Detailing

Deliver crisp, vertical edges along all sidewalks, driveways, and plant beds. Ensure no damage to nearby structures or irrigation heads.

Debris Management

Thoroughly blow off all clippings from hard surfaces. Ensure street gutters are clear and no debris is left in neighboring properties.

Safety Protocols

  • Mandatory PPE: All technicians must wear steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and hearing protection during equipment operation.
  • Equipment Pre-Check: Inspect mowers and trimmers for fuel leaks or loose blades before every shift.
  • Site Clearing: Remove debris, rocks, and toys from the lawn before starting any powered equipment.
  • Heat Safety: Maintain hydration and follow scheduled shade breaks during peak sun hours.
  • Hydraulic Safety: Never attempt to check for hydraulic leaks with bare hands.

Professional Standards

Uniform and Presentation

All staff members must wear the approved company polo or t-shirt, kept clean and tucked in. High-visibility vests are required during all roadside operations.

Client Interaction

Maintain a courteous tone when addressing homeowners. If a concern is raised, listen actively and escalate to the supervisor immediately if it cannot be resolved.

Workplace Integrity

Punctuality is mandatory. Arrive at the yard 15 minutes prior to shift start for the daily briefing. Respect property boundaries and equipment at all times.

Service Excellence

Check every blade. We aim for surgical precision in edging and mowing. If you spot a yard health issue, report it so we can advise the customer.
